In December 2020, Groupe Casino committed to improving the conditions under which broiler chickens are reared and slaughtered by implementing a scheme informing consumers on the level of welfare of broiler chickens sold in stores. Groupe Casino is simultaneously committed to labelling all its retailer-brand chickens under A to C scores by 2026.
