The animal welfare score displayed on a product stems from the assessment of a set of indicators throughout the animal's entire life, from birth to slaughter. This set of indicators constitutes the technical, species-specific standards, based on the collaborative technical work of Association Étiquette Bien-Être Animal.
To date, the broiler chicken technical standards evaluate 235 criteria from birth to slaughter. (To read the technical standard, click here).
