The Lidl chain is now offering five L'étal du Volailler brand products labelled C!
With a C grade attesting to a significant improvement in chicken welfare, Lidl is putting its commitments into practice by displaying the animal welfare level on a complete range of chicken: fillets, thighs, thighs, drumsticks and ready-to-cook chicken.
In line with its commitment to transparency, Lidl is actively rolling out the label on its shelves in response to growing consumer demand. Indeed, as an active member of the initiative, Lidl has already been affixing the Animal Welfare Label to its Label Rouge chickens since 2021.
